Carol Pennington and Herb Pennington of Kernersville and Blake Spell of Greensboro have been elected to the executive board of the North Carolina Association of Health Underwriters. Carol Pennington is the media relations chairperson, Herb Pennington is the chairman of the Health Underwriters Political Action Committee and Spell is the past president/council chairman.

Dr. Un Ju Kim has joined Novant Health Cardiology. Kim completed a cardiology fellowship at Sparrow Hospital, which is affiliated with Michigan State University, and was an internal medicine resident at McLaren Greater Lansing. She earned a bachelor’s degree at Emory University and a master’s in public health from the University of Michigan before completing medical school at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz.

Regina A. Lewis has joined Allegacy Federal Credit Union as talent management consultant. She will be responsible for working with organizations to provide custom solutions to help their staffing needs. Lewis has more than 20 years of human resources experience with a focus in the financial services, insurance and healthcare industries. She earned a B.S.B.A. with a concentration in marketing from N.C. A&T State University. Lewis is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute and as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resources Management.
