Roanoke County Public Schools will host a series of Partners for Safe Teen Driving presentations this fall for students enrolled in driver education through Health and Physical Education 10 and their parents or guardians.

All presentations begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at the following locations:
Sept. 28 — Hidden Valley High School
Oct. 7 — Northside High School
Oct. 14 — William Byrd High School
Oct. 21 — Glenvar High School
Oct. 27 — Cave Spring High School
Students may attend any one of the five presentations. Families are encouraged to attend the presentation at their child's school when possible, but students may attend at another high school if necessary.
Under Virginia law (Code of Virginia § 22.1-205), students must attend a Partners for Safe Teen Driving presentation as part of the driver education requirements. Students who do not attend will not be eligible to receive a DEC-1 card or participate in behind-the-wheel training, which is required for eligibility to obtain a driver's license.
