While I have a well-rounded nursing background, UR is a completely different ball game and comes with a significant learning curve. Anna was the best preceptor I could have asked for during this transition. She has always been willing to answer questions, no matter how many I have, and she does so without ever making me feel judged or uncomfortable.”
“Working from home can sometimes make it difficult to develop the same close-knit relationships with teammates that you might experience in a traditional work setting. Anna has a way of making everyone feel welcome. She encourages us, supports us, and creates an environment where we feel comfortable learning and growing. She even has welcomed many of us into her own home to train us in person rather than remotely. When something could have been done differently, she teaches us what we can do better next time rather than focusing negatively on what we did wrong. Her approach makes you want to learn, improve, and succeed. Coworkers like Anna are truly hard to come by. She leads by example, supports those around her, and genuinely cares about the success of our team. She has had a tremendous impact on my transition into UR and has helped make what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and rewarding,” according to her nominator.
