RADFORD, Va. – Radford Athletics announced on Tuesday morning that Paige Scaman has joined the athletic training and sports medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer. Scaman will work primarily with the volleyball and women's lacrosse programs.
Originally from Jacksonville, Ill., Scaman spent the past two years as an athletic training student at UNC Greensboro. She gained valuable experience working with the Greensboro Gargoyles for the 2025-26 season, a minor league hockey team. She also worked with Cone Health OrthoCare, UNC Greensboro Athletics, and Paige High School during her time as a student. Paige also volunteered to assist the training staff at the 2025 SoCon Cross Country Championship, UNCG Soccer Camps, Elm Street Athletic Festival Races, and Science Everywhere in Greensboro.
Scaman worked as the facility operations manager of the Leonard J. Kaplan Center for Recreation and Wellness at UNCG this past summer after graduation.
Scaman graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science in 2024. She received her Master of Science in athletic training degree from UNC Greensboro in 2026.
