SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Senior midfielder Rina Ogimoto of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer team was voted to the 2026 Southern Conference (SoCon) Preseason All-Conference Team, as voted on by the league's 11 coaches and announced by the conference on Monday.
Ogimoto concluded the 2025 regular season by being voted to the SoCon All-Conference Second Team.
The Oita, Japan, native paced the team with 14 points and six goals last season. She chipped in two assists as well. UNCG will host in-state foe East Carolina on Sunday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m. at UNCG Soccer Stadium in its home opener. All regular-season home games are free admission.
