ROANOKE, Va. – The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Wednesday that forward Ryan Reifler has signed a contract for the 2026-2027 season.
The Binghamton, New York, native is set to enter his third professional season with Roanoke. Reifler made his professional debut with the Dawgs in the spring of 2025, appearing in six games and tallying one assist. The six-foot-three forward suited up for 48 regular season games during the 2025-2026 campaign, posting five goals and 21 assists for 26 points, along with 23 penalty minutes. Reifler continued to contribute during the Dawgs’ 2025-2026 President’s Cup Playoff run, adding two goals and two assists.
Prior to his professional career, Reifler attended Elmira College (NCAA-DIII), where he played five seasons. He had a dominant career at Elmira, notching 48 goals, 58 assists, 61 penalty minutes, and a plus-22 rating in 120 career collegiate games.
Roanoke will host the Fayetteville Marksmen to kick off the 2026-2027 season on Friday, October 16, with puck drop set for 7:05 p.m. Season tickets, ticket packages and group tickets are on sale now through the Rail Yard Dawgs front office.
